[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]I, Pompe the TravellerDog, meet a lot of dogs when I’m out walking, and of course I want to play with all of them! But all of them are not equally fun. In fact, a lot of dogs are boring! They just want to take it easy and don’t want to play energetically with me. We had a playing/wrestling match in the Lower Barrakka Gardens in Valletta, Malta. See us play in the video and please write in the comments who of us won the wrestling match in your opinion.
Note from mama: The Maltese people are very friendly and love their dogs a lot! However, there seems to be a lot of dogs in Malta that are not very well socialized. As we know, dogs who are not well socialized as puppies can be a bit awkward with other dogs and a bit aggressive and/or snappy. Bear this in mind when you meet other dogs on the street.
Also, there are not many places in Malta where dogs are allowed off the leash. I have noticed that dogs seem to be more aggressive towards other dogs when they are on leashes. Despite this rule, one sees many dogs off the lead in some areas such as rocky beaches.
If you are curious to learn how I socialized and prepared Pompe for traveling when he was a puppy, I have written about it under Preparations on the page Travelling with a Dog.[/vc_column_text][vc_video link=”https://youtu.be/Z2-i64ywjYc”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”1771″ img_size=”full”][vc_single_image image=”1770″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]
