One day I was lucky to get a flaky chicken pouch from the kiosk-owner while my mama enjoyed a Ricotta pouch. People in Malta eat these little wonderful pastries for breakfast, and mama took to that tradition immediately. She now takes me down to the harbor and the friendly kiosk-owner every morning. While she sips a cappuccino, and has a ricotta pastry, I sniff the waterfront. There is always something fun going on there.
This impressive pile of ribs was given to me in a fabulous restaurant near the sea, and they were amazing.
Other local delicacies on Malta include rabbit stew, but mama says I can’t have any because there are so many small pieces of bone in it.
