I have been practicing it all summer in Sweden, but swimming is even better in Finland, I swear! The reason is that in Finland they have saunas, so if you get too cold when you swim, you can simply go into the sauna afterwards to heat up.
I really took a liking to saunas when on this trip to Finland. It’s a lot of fun in saunas, the people talk and have fun and it’s nice and warm. Everyone raved about me liking the sauna and said that dogs usually don’t like saunas.
My mama wanted to take a photo of me to prove that I was in the sauna, but the lens of the camera kept fogging up, so she has no photo to prove it.

When I swim, I lift my paws far into the air with each stroke, so it splashes a lot and I don’t get very far. Even though I want to swim forward, I feel like I’m stuck in one place. The splashing was fun though, and it was very fun to try to catch the splash-droplets with my mouth!
This is not the first time I try to master the art of swimming. I took my first step in learning how to swim and have been practicing how to swim in Sweden. If you want to read more about traveling with a dog in Finland, mama has written quite a bit about it under Plan a Trip Finland.
