Look at Me, Pompe, I Can Swim!

I swim with ease through the water, no splashing, just smooth swimming out to the stick. A skillful turn-around in the water and then smooth paddling back to land.

I’m so proud of myself! It took a lot of practice to get to this point. In the beginning of the summer, I couldn’t swim at all! Mama had thought that I would just know how to swim without practicing because I’m a Poodle and we are bread to be swimming water-retrievers, but oh was she wrong! Learning how to swim was a long time coming, I practiced a lot! My first step was to watch another dog swim, which you can see in the video in the post. The second step was to practiced swimming many times in Sweden and also in Finland, when we were there visiting friends in Rauma.
