[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]I, Pompe, was really traumatized by the whole quarantine episode! It was so scary to be without my mama for 18 hours because I’m virtually always with her. At the time I was taken into quarantine, I had just arrived in a new country where everything smelled differently. Also, add to the fact that I was trapped in a small cage.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”1320″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_video link=”https://youtu.be/kTdD8ZlPubw”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]My mama was also shaken by this episode. She usually tells me some 5 times per day that she loves me, that I’m so cute about 20 times per day and kisses me some 15 times each day. For the week after the Maltese quarantine episode you need to put an extra 0 at the end of each number above.
I was not my normal self for a week after the episode. When I arrive in a new place I’m usually very happy and bouncy, but after quarantine I was scared of everything and not enthusiastic about anything. My mama was really worried about me. She had heard that my quarantine-depression could last for up to a week, so she decided to do her best to cheer me up.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”1413″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]There are many Turkish fast food restaurants in Malta with amazing food at cheap prices. They typically serve wraps, kebab, falafel, salads and sometimes pizza. Because the owners of one particular Turkish restaurant, Bayrak Kebab House in Sliema, made such fantastic food and were so nice to me, mama decided to go there for lunch most days during the month we lived in Sliema.
The amazing owners of Bayrak Kebab House served me delicious, D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S kebab every single time we came! Can you believe it?
Bayrak’s kebab was the only thing that could excite me the week after the quarantine episode. Every time I realized that mama was going to take me to their snout-watering kebab, I got super excited and started pulling on the leash.
After 5-6 days (and a few extra ounces) I was my normal self again. Mama tells everyone that I got Kebab Therapy for my quarantine-induced depression and that it worked.
I know mama suggested to the owners of Bayrak Kebab House that they put a Doggy Delicacy Platter on the menu. I’m not sure if they picked her up on it or not, but if you visit Sliema, mama and I definitely recommend stopping by Bayrak Kebab House for some tasty, cheap and filling food.
Mama knows I love kebab! On my birthday she gave me… check out what in the post about my birthday.

So cute and well written! This needs to become a children’s book on the adventures of Pompe. Let’s talk.
