Well, if I know my mama (and I believe I do), not even this boat-tour will be the last one.
My mama loves to get onto the water, and the 10 Euro harbor tours that depart from Sliema are easy and cheap ways to get onto the water.
Make no mistake, I love boat tours too! I get to sniff the fresh sea-breeze, look at the seagulls circling above us and check out the swirling water next to the boat. I feel free and happy when I’m on a boat.
Today was pretty windy, and my ears blew wide open in the wind. Funny experience, I heard a lot more stuff with my ears open like that.
Apart from being cheap, my mama likes the boat tours because the boats pass a lot of interesting places in a short time, and because there is a local guy on each boat who tells the humans about the rich history of Malta.
Malta is an island with a very interesting history due to it’s strategic position in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. The poor people of Malta have endured many wars and occupations by many different invaders including the Ottomans (Turks) and the British.
